ABOUT
BLAZE Mentoring Program is the product of an initiative started within the Nashville Fire Department. BLAZE represents Breaking Limitations, Accepting Zero Excuses and targets students that attend the Academies of Nashville in Metro Nashville Public Schools. BLAZE volunteers aim to reduce any limits that students have relating to their future and push students to be their best.
Mission
To expose students to a variety of local career opportunities, guide students towards positive paths and decisions, and build connections with students beyond the classroom.
Philosophy
Our desire is to increase progressive outcomes for students by promoting positive developmental trajectories while fostering healthy relationships with Fire Department personnel.
